He is also a two-time winner of the Proud Lady Barber Competition.
Erskine has been a barber to NBA stars, celebrities such as Judge Mathis, and as a part of the Revlon Professional Style Team. Erskine was an official stylist for the Miss Black USA Pageant.
Erskine's work is known nationwide- Mr. Reeves’ barbering and texturizing skills are now featured on the boxes of African Pride Men’s Texturizing kits, calendars, posters, billboards, and various other products nationally.
Erskine Reeves served as a competition's judge for the Proud Lady Barber Competition and also as an associate writer for Salon Sense magazine. He has performed as a national educator-platform artist for Colomer USA (African Pride, Cream of Nature, Arosci, and Revlon Professional), and also as an educator-platform artist for John Amico hair products!
The latest accomplishments of Erskine Reeves are becoming a Director on the Illinois Association of Cosmetology Schools (IACS) and the opening of his new beautiful 4,000 sq ft Barber Academy on the corner of Mannheim and Washington in Hillside, IL.
He has named this facility as "Erskine Reeves Barber Academy," a multicultural atmosphere, where he provides Barber Education, and his slogan is "Cultivating the Entrepreneur Barber in You!"
